About

Robyn began to develop her personal style of highly textured and layered canvases (see South African Flora series) in her Masters Year. Recently, her portfolio of work has branched into portraiture – a theme which she finds very rewarding. Robyn, however, has continued to be fascinated by a range of subject matter – from figurative to landscape.

Having completed a MA (FA) at Michaelis School of Fine Art, UCT, Robyn went on to teach art at various educational institutions for both adults and children, as well volunteer in the Learning Programmes at the Iziko Museum in Cape Town, South Africa. Her passion was to help youngsters grow and heal through  art and to do her bit in giving Art the reputation of being a valued subject among school children. Robyn has continued to pursue her own art since arriving in Britain in 2013, but has also dedicated much time as a primary school and art educator.
